Newcomers, veterans and a recent President enter the fray in this first Heat of the series. Competitors are eliminated left, right and centre and only the strongest will survive to compete in the finals.

A veteran only heat features the current reigning Champions, Carbide. Will Carbide’s streak be brought to an end by the other robots, more experienced and eager than ever?

Even the judges aren’t safe as two robots collide, sending shrapnel through the bullet-resistant shields around the arena. Two very different styles of robot meet in the finals.

One newcomer stares down seven veterans, will their induction into the arena be successful, or will their inexperience find them in the pit? One robot will have a second chance to qualify in the Redemption Round.

The final heat features only veterans, here for an opportunity to make up for their mistakes in the previous tournaments. Only one competitor will make it into the Grand Finals, and the others must suffer defeat, again.

After lengthy repairs and inspirational pep talks, the qualifiers prepare to fight for the title. A 10-way Robot Rumble will give the victor a spot in the Grand Finals, alongside the heat winners.
